Dropp-off Zone

Dear all,

We want to extend a warm welcome back to all of our returning students, and a warm welcome to our new students and parents.  We have an exciting year ahead and we are all very pleased that you will be with us.
As a reminder, we thought that it would be a very good idea to go through the "Drop-off Zone" routines. Our kids' safety is the most important thing for all of us.

We would like to highlight the following rules:
- No motorised vehicles past the Drop-off Zone - at any time.

- We should all drive in one direction – at all times.

Driving to Drop-off Zone is done via Silverdalsvägen (past the construction site)
Driving from Drop-off Zone is done via Rådanvägen (with the Police Academy on our left).

Staff will be at Drop-off Zone to receive the children from 7.40. Please note that caregivers may not drive down to the school even when there is no staff at the Drop-off Zone.

We expect all families to park and walk down to pick up your child. After picking up your child, you continue driving up Rådanvägen. Please be aware that the sign (as shown below) indicates a “Residential/walking area” which means that pedestrians have  right of way. Cars and bicycles must keep walking speed (approx. 6-7 km/h)

It should  be mentioned that  when it's not a normal school day (e.g studiedag, holidays, etc...) and it's only fritids at school, we don't have any staff at Drop-off Zone.  We stress it that all above-mentioned  Drop-off Zone routines should be followed for the safety of our kids, and to make drop-off procedures as fluid and convenient as possible.

Note: Some may have valid reasons to drive all the way down. If you have special needs or reasons to drive all the way, please contact the Principal to get an authorization.

Thank you all in advance for your concern and cooperation. In order for our students to have the safest possible travel to and from school, it is important that we organize the traffic around the school.
