During the past two weeks we had baked a very interesting patterned muffin. Does it look like a Tiger or a Zebra? Humm....anyway they are delicious!! You should definitely try this at home!
The recipe goes like this. You make one batter with chocolate and the other one without. Into the muffin liners put one teaspoonful of plain batter in the middle of the cup, then one teaspoonful of the cocoa batter tight in the centre on top of plain batter. (make sure not to tilt or jiggle the pan, let the batter spread by itself). Keep doing this until you get 3/4 of the way full. (takes a while) :-)
The recipe below was given to our students who could understand all the ingredients written in Spanish. So, shall we practice our Spanish too?

125 g MANTEQUILLA
2 dl AZÚCAR
1 tsk VAINILLA
4,5 dl HARINA
(4 msk CHOCOLATE)
2 tsk LEVADURA
2 HUEVOS
1,5 dl LECHE
Our bakers can read in Spanish and independently bake everything! |
Sometimes little accidents happens...:-) |
They look gorgeous!!! |
