So, it's time for some Spanish baking club, and this time our lovely kids want to bake Shortbread cookies or Galletas de Mantequilla in Spanish.
As always it's super fun and delicious. Let's see what we need for this yummy sweet:
Ingredients:
200 gr Butter
1 ts Vanilla
1 dl Sugar
4 1/2 dl Flour
Method:
Heat the oven to 190C.
Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour until you get a smooth paste. Put the dough on the working surface and roll it out until the thickness is about 0.5-1 cm.
Cut it into rounds or shape it with your fingers and put it in a baking tray. It would be better to let it chill for 20 minutes but it's optional.
Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until it becomes pale golden-brown.
This shortbread is very easy to bake and doesn't take a long time to both prepare and bake.
