Oatmeal Cookies
- -3/4 cup (170 grams) unsalted butter, room temperture
- -1 Cup (210 grams) packed light brown sugar
- -1 large egg
- -1 teaspoon vanilla
- -3/4 cup (105 grams) all purpose flour
- -1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- -1/2 teaspoon salt
-1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- -2 and 1/2 cups (260 grams) old-fashioned rolled oats
- * Raisins if desired
- Preheat the oven to 190⁰C.

Let's begin:
1. In a medium bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in egg one at a time, then stir in vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; stir in to the creamed mixture. Mix in oats.
2. Roll in to balls, and place 2 inches apart on parchment paper in cookie sheets. Flatten each cookie with a large spoon.
3. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
